Steven Yood Bariatric Surgeon M.D.

He was completely unprofessional. Never left the room while I undressed. Didn't bring a nurse into the room while he "examined" me. I had to ask him to close the blinds on the window of the first floor exam room we were in. Will never go back to him again.

Although Dr Yood's surgical skills are fine, he has a long way to go with his bedside manner.
He treated me as a cash cow, berated me verbally and actually insulted me and my intelligence on more than one occasion.He likes to lump all patients into a group. He doesn't like that your body may not respond exactly as he would expect or wish. He overfilled my band numerous times and blamed me when I swelled up so that my band would not allow anything, even saliva through!
I removed myself from his practice and now have a doctor that listens to me and treats me with respect.

Dr. Yood is very nice and caring. The staff if very nice I have never had any bad experiances with the office. While in the hospital after surgery Dr. Yood made sure that he saw me every day sometimes twice a day

I was recommended to him via a friend who has gastric bypass performed by him. I found him & his entire office staff wonderful. Every part of the process was explained from beginning to end & the required seminars were quite helpful. I've only had one post-op visit since I'm a new patient so I can't really say much more until I'm further in my treatment.

Dr. Yood is, in my opinion, one of the best surgeons out there. He is professional, genuine, and caring. He is very knowledgable and skilled.
