My first impression of Dr. Breslaw was that I was simply impressed. Especially, by his down to earth attitude. There was no arrogance about him and that made me feel instantly comfortable.
The office staff is wonderful, the people are great. So friendly and upbeat.
Aftercare is highly stressed and support groups are available. I feel that help if I should need it is only a phone call away.
Dr. Breslaw discussed thoroughy the risks associated with this surgery. However, in attending the support groups for several months before surgery no one really ever discussed the pain or the feelings of "what have I done to myself." I felt ill-prepared here.
I appreciate and and am grateful to Dr. Breslaw and his staff. I appreciate his bedside manner and respect his dynamic skill as a surgeon.

he is clear and full of energy about this obesity thing. I have no resistance to
having him or his partner pop me open and
do surgery. I am more uptite about Florida
drivers than I am about Lapro.Surgery !
I first visited Dr. Ralph Breslaw on March 14, 2001 for my initial consultation. He spent a full hour with me going over the surgery, risks, complications, etc. He answered all my questions. On March 25th, I completed all my pre-op testing and Dr. Paul Hyland met with me to go over the results of all my testing. Once again, I was informed of all the risks and possible complications. My surgery was performed by Dr. Breslaw/Hyland on April 1. The surgery was performed laproscopically and took approximately 1 hour 45 minutes. I was visited by Dr. Breslaw daily while in the hospital. I was released on day 4 and had my first follow up visit with Dr. Breslaw on April 9th when my staples were removed.
Drs Breslaw/Hyland were kind, caring and compassionate. The office staff was friendly, encouraging and efficient.
Can't say enough about my Doctor. Dr. Breslaw answered all my questions and explained things in great detail. I feel I was treated with the upmost of respect and was not intimadated at all. I trust him and I know that this is going to go without a hitch. I feel very confortable about doing this. His coordinator Carmel Medoza is the greatest. She made this happen for me. She continues to go the extra mile for me no matter what. I thank her for everything.
