My surgery went smoothly and I had absolutely no complications afterwards.
The head office manager/nurse: Jody Nicholson as well as his other staff were extremely helpful and supportive with any and all questions I had.
They have a wonderful follow-up program making use of an in-house dietition and mental health doctor.
They hold monthly support meetings for pre and post op clients.
He's a great surgeon and it's a great office to work with!

I had my consultation with Dr.Kelley this morning. I was a little nervous in general but was quickly put at ease. The previous reviews that mentioned Dr. Kelley have a good "bed side manor" were spot on. Dr. Kelley greeted me warmly and continued that tone through out the appointment. We even sharged a few laughs. He was extremely knowledgeable and personable, I can tell he care about people.

I left his office feeling so positive and excited, he really helped put my few concerns to bed. I know that there are risk, even possiblity of death but, knowing Dr. Kelley is proforming my surgery has really put my mind at ease.

I will post again when I hear back from insurance.

I had my Sleeve Gastrectomy on Feb 11,2013 . I 'am a week out and I feel pretty good. There is one incison site that is sort of painful but it will go ahead in time. I just wanted to say Dr.kelly is so nice and thought. He was so thoughtful and caring! The hospital that I was at was great !

Dr. Kelly performed WLS on me in Sept. of 2010. He was very professional and did a wonderful job. I am very happy with the outcome even though after waking up from surgery I thought I made a terrible mistake but that was the pain speaking for me. I am pleased to say that I have dropped 161 pounds and still losing. I haven't been happier. I am able to keep up with my 4 year old twin boys, my sleep apnea is under control and I am just enjoying life to the fullest. I just want to say thank you Dr. Kelly for saving my life~

I am very impressed with Dr Kelly. Not only with his surgical technique, but he has a great bedside manner as well. That can be hard to find in a surgeon and it's very important to me that someone talks to me like an intelligent human being. The entire bariatric program is wonderful through St Paul Surgeons and United Hospital. I would highly recommend this practice!

Had RNY surgery post op 5 months...Dr. Kelley was very open about what to expect. Surgery went well, no complications, feel great and most of all losing weight and health has improved!

I just recently had my weight loss surgery done. I had the Laparoscopic, Roux-en-Y gastric bypass. Dr. Kelly is an amazing and gifted human being. When first meeting him, I had no negative thoughts to think. I mean here is this doctor trying to help me lose weight and better my health. From that point on from walking into his office and waking up to him at my bedside to let me know that surgery was a successful I don't have anything negative to say. He was just that good!. Very informative before and after my surgery at my bedside. I told him I was really scared and didn't know if I was making the right choice. But, Dr. Kelly reassured me that I was doing the right thing and explained in further detail why this surgery was important for me. Dr. Kelly was very knowledgeable about my surgery and I would recommend him to anyone. Definitely one of the best out of Minnesota!

I am GRATEFUL that I had Dr. Kelly for my surgery. He cares about his patients before doing and after surgery. That means a lot to people now a days.

Dr. Kelly has a great bedside manner for a surgeon! He's a very capable surgeon and explained everything very thoroughly!

I only have two words....MAGIC MAN :)
