    Dr. Michael Roller has extensive training in minimally invasive and non-cardiacthoracic surgery with a special interest in diseases of the stomach and esophagus. He earned his medical degree at the University of New Mexico School of Medicine and completed both his surgical residency and general thoracic fellowship training at Keesler Medical Center, Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi. After four years of Air Force service, he completed a minimally invasive fellowship in bariatric and minimally invasive thoracic surgery at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Roller is certified by the American Board of Surgery. He is also a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Metabolic and Bariatric Surgeons.

    Dr Roller was open and friendly but kind of distant too. He is a complex individual. He did put me at ease in the first visit, by taking the time to answer questions and draw diagrams of what would be going on in my body More...
