Hilario Juarez Bariatric Surgeon M.D.

I have met Dr. Juarez about 4 times, 1 on 1 and in pre-surgery seminars, I had my surgery at Banner Good Samartan Hospital on August 16, 2007.rnDr. was about 1 hr late but I did not mind, gave me extra time to pull all together. He is very straight with his seminar, up front information about risks, I expect those risks and if you have been in operating rooms before this will seem like a piece of cake. Great Dr.

He was very understanding and nice.rnrnI've just gotten to like him more everytime I go in to see him.rnrnThe staff is very concerened about each and everyone of their patients.rnrn

He is very quiet, but didn't seem rushed AT ALL. He answered all of my questions. I really feel at ease with him.

When I went to the seminar I was impressed with his knowledge and his laid back personality. My first appointment though was very short with him and to the point. I had questions about his experience with patients my size and doing it lap. I have been to a couple other serminars where Dr's said they wouldn't even try it on people my size. I am scheduled for surgery 5/2/07.rn

All I can say so far about Dr. Juarez is wow he is awesome, and his staff especially Diana have been instrumental it making this mans dreams a reality.

I felt very comfortable from the get-go with Dr. Juarez. He made me feel at ease with him. I enjoyed going to his seminar because of all the useful information he gave us. His office staff was very friendly on the phone and in person. I feel extremely safe and confident in Dr. Juarez's skills as a surgeon and am happy that I chose him.

Dr. Juarez upon first meeting seemed very relaxed and confident which made me feel at ease. He informed me as well as provided me a list of the risks during and after surgery. Dr. Juarez met with me in pre-op as well as every day after surgery until I was released. His surgical assistant who was extremely professional, curtious and knowledgeable also came to see me each day to address any of my concerns. I had a couple issues which he immediately follow up with by ordering tests before I was released from the hospital. This made me very comfortable. I feel very fortunate to have had such an excellent surgical team. The entire team was pleasant and considerate of me.

After a lot of research deceided on Dr.Juarez. I liked him immediately. He's not a talkative person but one who will answer every question you have. He is very upfront about the risk of surgery. Scheduled Dec. 27th St. Lukes. UPdate:Came out of surgery great. No complications. Would definitly recommend Dr.Juarez.

First Impression: He's a surgeon - thorough, not very personable, definitely knew his field. Office staff was cooperative, efficient and helpful. To be continued....
