I had surgery with Dr. Alvarez on March 8, 2022 and that was the best decision I have ever made. My heaviest weight was 286 and I am already down to 229. Because of this weightloss I am more active with my kids and overall just feel so much better! Dr. ALVAREZ and his team were also TOP NOTCH! The hospital was the cleanest and nicest facility I’ve been to and I never had to worry about anything. Anytime I had a question someone was there with an answer. I’ve had three surgeries in America… after visiting the endohospital I never want another surgery in America. You are truly treated with the upmost respect and top care at the Endohopsital! Dr. A and his team changed my life and for that I will forever be grateful.

I looked into having my sleeve done here in the states first but am so thankful that I decided to make the trip to Mexico and have Dr. A preform it instead. I research him and shared my findings with my Primary Care Dr. and she was impressed as well! not only with Dr. A credentials' but also that of the Endobariactric team and the Endohospital!
Over the years I have struggled with diet after diet to loose the weight that always left me feeling like a failure. I'd loose a few pounds but then put them right back on and then some. Dr. A crafted my sleeve on February 16th 2022 and as of today June 1, 2022 I have lost 52 pounds and still loosing!! I still have 40 pounds to go before I reach my goal but have every confidence that I will reach the goal!!
My surgical coordinator, Brandi guided me from the beginning. Answering all my questions not to mention the Education videos that Dr. A facilitates that explain the procedure in great detail! You will also receive post-op education and tutorials from Dr. A immediately after your surgery guiding you through the post-op stages.
Dr. A and his team are always available to answer any questions I may have. They truly care about their patients individually and I can honestly say that they provide the absolute best medical care that I have ever received!!

My experience with Endobariatric, as a whole, has been a blessing. What I mean is-the trip, arrival, prep for surgery, surgery, recovery, release, has all been an un-intimidating process (a breeze). Doctor Álvarez and his staff has provided all the care, comfort, answered all questions, and even provided unwarranted necessary and helpful suggestions. You will go home with all the knowledge needed for your journey to lose weight. I'm a 60 year old female who has tried all my life to lose weight (short of surgery), and failed. After performing an extensive and intimidating research, I've chosen Dr. Guillermo Álvarez to perform the sleeve procedure. It's been approximately 3 months from surgery date to this review-have lost 42 pounds, and I have not experienced any complications. I strongly recommend Endobarictric.

Dr. Alvarez and his team of doctors, nurses and hospitals staff are amazing. They are very experienced and knowledgeable and always make you feel welcome, confident in the surgery and are always available for any questions or concerns. I’m 3 months post op and have to say Dr. Alvarez precision and skill are impecable. The small scars have almost disappeared and I had no issues or complications what so ever. If anything, I feel so much better with my overall health. I haven’t even called them back, they had to reach out to me to make sure I was good. The faculties are luxurious, clean, and spacious. The city is safe and most items you need are in the Hospital. I would highly recommend Dr. Alvarez and Endohospital I would not risk it with anyone else.

From the first call To the flight I was scared nervous and not sure I was making the right decision... Rosie my coordinator was amazing with everything and was always there to help that made me feel more comfortable in knowing I was making the right decision... once I made it endohospital That was the first day to the rest of my life.. everyone was great and made you feel like family you was finally home... leaving knowing that Dr A had given me the best tool life could offer only being 35 years old That day my life changed forever and I will always be greatful.... highly recommend just wish I would have done it sooner

Love Dr. Alvarez! Everything was very organized, clean, everyone was friendly and helpful. Not alot of wait time. Surgery was perfect and would highly recommend to anyone! Hospital was extremely clean and staff very helpful and friendly. I received excellent care from Dr. Alvarez and his team. I have never received as good of care as I did with Dr. Alvarez's team.

Great facility. Wonderful staff. All round 1st class operation. I am a 75 year old male, diabetic, was taking metformin 1000 mg twice a day, 25 mg Jardiance once a day, 1.8 mg Victoza once a day and three 15 units of insulin before each meal and had a A1c of around 8 with all the medicadition. The day before surgery 1 weight in at 235 on May 7, 2022 I tiped the scales at 183 after only 90 days post surgery. I still take the metformin and Jardiance but have been able to stop the 4 injections my May 1 A1c was 7.2. I have lost about all the weight that was my goal. This was one of the best decisions I ever made. This is important if your thinking about this surgery I had no pain and was never sore. Be BOLD and go for it I don't think you will be sorry. Dr.Alvarez, his staff, and his facility are the absolute best at what they do. It was hands down the most personal, considerate, and thorough medical care I’ve ever received.
