My first impression of Dr. Hall was that he was very quiet and layed back, but very friendly! He knew me well, and asked me alot of questions about myself and confirmed things he knew about me. He is very personable, and cares SO MUCH with each patient. I would recommend and HAVE recommended Dr. Hall and that loving, caring staff to several people asking. He saved my LIFE and I will be eternally greatful for his love of helping others.

My first impression of Dr. Hall was that he is a shy person and pretty quiet, but he really has a very dry sense of humor. Once you know him a little and get him started, he's a riot. His office staff is absolutely wonderful and competant. They are friendly and will bend over backwards to help you do whatever you need to get done. If you become a patient of Dr. Hall's please understand that this office functions because they love what they do. They reap some wonderful satisfaction helping others and seeing others reach goals that they thought they would never achieve.
Dr. Hall believes that aftercare is the root and base of all success stories. The more you go to group support meetings or meet with him or his staff the more likely you'll be to succeed and reach your goal and better yet, maintain that goal. His explanation of the risks and benefits of surgery were very plain and to the point. He did not sugar coat anything. All his cards were on the table and you made the final decision. I would reccommend Dr. Hall highly and emphatically to anyone interested in this type of surgery. He is a warm and caring person and an excellant surgeon. His bedside manner is quiet, but attentative and his surgical competence is exceptional. Dr. Hall has given me the chance and the tool to have a second chance on life.

Dr. Hall is very nice and thourough in explaining the surgery. He talks to you on a level so that you can understand everything you need to know about the surgery. His staff is very kind and extremely helpful. If it wasn't for Delores I wouldn't be getting this surgery at all. She was a tremendous help to me.

So far I have only spoken to the people in his office. They are very nice and informative. I recieve weekly e-mails from their on line support center, and recieve quick responses from the staff when I have questions. I will meet Dr. Hall on 6/28/04 when I arrive for my pre-op, as I live 8 hours by air from his office.

Like him alot, very attractive, soft spoken, makes sure you are well imformed. office staff was the best. carol really goes out of her way for the patients and families. everyone was very imformative, have an excellent before and after care emails you almost daily. encourages you to call and stay intouch and gives 5 yrs of followup care for free! dr. office was easy to find, and appointment was on time, if not early. he talked to me and my mom for 3 hours one on one making sure we understood everything and answered all our questions.

Dr. Hall is an excellent surgeon - he explains everything thoroughly. I did not feel that he pushed the VBG over the RNY in fact I feel like he leans towards the RNY because it has a higher success rate. He explains all the complications and all the benefits of both types of surgery. He is a very quiet man but is very caring about his patients - I saw him everyday in the hospital. I would recommend him highly to anyone that is considering this surgery.

Dr. Hall is a nice, quiet man, that definatly knows his business. He has an excellent bedside manner and amazingly understanding to obesity issues. He has been doing this for many many years, is kept up to all the latest information, and once at the consiltation, he shares everything he can with you, so you leave knowing exactly what is going on and when. He encourages a person to really know in their heart and mind that this surgery is for them, and those that seem unsure or not very informed, he reminds to take more time if they feel they need to do so. He does not make you feel pressured into the surgery, he does not try and sway you to the VBG versus the RNY, as some have said. He lets you decide what is best for your lifestyle. He has a wonderful after care program, which I will be using, and offers his advice and guidance each step of the way. His staff is wonderful, compassionate and caring. Carol really is the BEST and will help you so much! Thumbs up for Dr. Hall !

Loved him and his staff. Will try to discourage the RNY, if that is what you want then stick to your guns. He is very capable and will do a good job. Great aftercare instructions and support.

Dr. Hall is AMAZING! I recommend him to anyone and everyone! He is a quiet man, but he knows exactly what he is doing! He informs you of all possible problems, and you can never say you were not properly educated on the procedure or its possible side effects.

Knowing what I know now, I would do this surgery agin tomorrow without hesitation. With that being said, Dr. Hall would definitely be my surgeon again.

My first impression was that I really liked Dr.Hall and could tell that he knew exactly what he was doing. My opinion only got stronger after my surgery. Dr. Hall's office staff was great, especially Carol.
Anyone considering bariatric surgery should look at Dr. Hall as their doctor. He only has the patient in mind at all times. He wants what is best for the patient. We are number one is his eyes. He goes over all of the risks of the surgery almost to a point of your thinking what am I doing here. He wants you to know upfront what is involved and he does a great job of letting you know all of this. I would rate Dr. Hall as a 10+++++++
He is very dedicated. I will say that if you are not willing to follow his instructions you might want to find another doctor. He has done this for years and knows how to get the job done. His surgical competence and bedside manner are both great. He visits you every day that you are in the hospital. My experience with Dr. Hall and his staff have been great. Also I forgot to mention that he has a VERY structured aftercare program.
If I had it to do all over again, Yes, I would have my open RYN and Dr. Hall would be my surgeon.These are just my personal opinions so everyone needs to find out for themselves.
