Dr. David Buchin, Bariatric Surgeon David Buchin, MD, FACS, FASMBS is one of Long Island’s most trusted and experienced bariatric surgeons specializing in advanced laparoscopic weight loss surgery. He is the Director of Bariatric Surgery at Huntington Hospital and the founder of LI Obesity Surgery. He completed his residency at Long Island Jewish Medical Center where he was Chief Resident and went on to complete a fellowship at the Minimally Invasive Surgical Institute of New York. Dr. Buchin earned his medical degree at New York Medical College.
