Dang Tuan Pham Bariatric Surgeon MD, FACS

My first impression of Dr. Pham was that he has a wonderful bedside manor. He greets you with the great big smile that lights up the room and makes you feel comfortable about the decisions you are making. Dr. Pham is very knowledgeable concerning the procedures and ranks very high in his field.
Synergy Bariatics is a very structured organization and help you through every step of the weight loss process. I find them to be helpful and informative when you ask questions or have concerns regarding your care.

I am happy to write Dr Pham's first review. He did the very first Sleeve Gastrectomy at Sister's hospital and for Synergy Bariatrics on me Thursday 8/20/2009. He mentored on the the Sleeve Gastrectomy procedure from Cirangle and Jossart, the best in the USA. He has a fabulous attention to detail and sense of humor. He had a distinguished medical career in the Airforce in both laproscopic and gastrointestinal issues. He has a great bedside manner. He was personable and reassuring before the surgery, we discussed his family and exchanged jokes. Most of all he submitted for the surgery I needed and got it approved. I will always be grateful that he joined the Synergy Bariatric practice when he did and was able to be my advocate for the procedure I needed. Things happen for a reason and if my primary had gotten my bloodwork in on time I would have had a January surgery with a surgeon that performed RNY.
