Babak Moeinolmolki Bariatric Surgeon MD, FACS

Dr. Babak Moeinolmolki, Bariatric Surgeon Dr. Babak Moeinolmolki, MD, FACS, affectionately known by his patients as Dr. Moein or Dr. Babak, is a board-certified general and bariatric surgeon and is one of the very few surgeons in the world that is dual fellowship-trained in minimally invasive bariatric surgery as well as comprehensive cosmetic aesthetic and body contouring surgery. He is the only surgeon in Southern California to hold such an accomplishment, making him uniquely qualified to meet both the bariatric and cosmetic needs of his patients. As a native of California, Dr. Moeinolmolki began his college education at the University of California Los Angeles where he earned a Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Microbiology and Molecular Genetics graduating from the College Honors Program with distinction. While completing his studies at UCLA, he received a service excellence award for volunteer work at the UCLA Medical Center. He went on to earn his medical degree at George Washington University where he received the Robert Dodeck Scholarship award.
