Great doctor, great results!

Dr. David Lee performed my RNY on 6-1-06. From day one, the staff, the doctors, even the bariatric nurses at the hospital - all of them have continually treated me with the utmost in respect and dignity. I am a very healthy success because of these people. No scars, either - 7 years later, I still get the same support from them that I did at a week out. I can NEVER trust another surgeon like I trust Dr. Lee. I met a (little tiny) gal in xray one night that told me a story about how she'd been in a terrible car accident and Dr. Lee had to put her tummy back together after the accident. He's an excellent tummy gastro doc, even if it's not weight loss surgery, the man knows gastro!

Awesome facility and excellent surgeon. Always plenty of time for questions and I feel I can call anytime. Staff is super freindly and program is designed for optimum success.

I was very excited that Dr. Lee was very caring and informative in our consult. I was not a number to him, I was a person. His office staff was very pleasant and kind. I was very informed of the risks and complications that could happen, as well as the benefits from it. So far, I've seen nothing negative. I can't really rate yet, because I've just begun the journey.

I had my first appointment w/ Dr. Lee the other day. I had originally started the process with another facility but felt too much like a number. I didn't feel that way with Dr. Lee. The scheduled appointment was for 1/2 hour and I felt like he took the time to answer my questions and explain the processes. rnrnIt has now been a year since my first visit to Dr. Lee and I still do not have a negative thing to say about him or the program. Dr. Lee truly cares about his patients and the staff at the bariatric center are easy to get along with and always ready to help!

I can not put into words how Dr. Lee makes his patients feel so appreciated and welcome into a new family of support. He genuinely cares about each patient and he listens and really seems to understand each issue. The team at Columbus' Bariatric Center is so proffesional and at the same time make you feel at home. They made sure that I was 100% informed going into, during, and after the surgery.

Dr. Lee and his staff have been wonderful! I originally attended a session with a different surgeon, but the staff was not very helpful with my insurance, so I talked to Laura @ Dr. Lee's office and she has been great! They were very understanding and helped get all of my records from the previous surgeon and helped set me up with the Obesity Law and Advocacy center to help me get approved! Will update once the surgery is done!!

My first meeting with Dr. Lee and his staff went fairly well. As time has passed, and I have gone to the educational classes and meetings, I am getting more and more comfortable with my upcoming surgery. Dr. Lee and his staff however have one other hurtle to over come-my mom, the nurse. I let look at all the information I have been given talked with her at length and so far she thinks its all good :)

Dr. David Lee is AWESOME! Incredibly good looking, caring, wonderful bedside manner and I must say he made this surgery as pain free as humanely possible. The office staff is great, although Nurse Christine can appear to be a little 'hard' - she is ONLY concerned and is extremely knowledgable. rnrnTheir support groups are wonderful but only held 2 times per month (not bad, really, several surgeons only hold one per month). They are prompt in answering and returning phone calls, emails, you name it.rnrnWouldn't change a thing if I could - Dr. Lee and Columbus Regional TOTALLY respected me, my needs, my weight and have followed through with me from the get-go. THANK YOU FOR SAVING MY LIFE! I will respect it and live healthy for the rest of my life.
