MY FIRST IMPRESSION OF DR. O AS WE CALL HIM WAS "THIS GUY IS VERY SERIOUS"! IT TURNS OUT I WAS RIGHT HE CARES ABOUT HIS PATIENTS AND HE TAKES THIS PROGRAM VERY SERIOUS HE WILL NOT HESITATE TO CANCEL THE SURGERY IF HE THINKS YOU ARE NOT READY....I AM VERY HAPPY WITH MY OVERALL EXPERIENCE AND I KNOW THAT I CHOSE THE RIGHT SURGEON FOR ME...THANKS AGAIN DR.O.......
Dr. Rowitz is an excellent surgeon. He did the Gastric bypass on my son with perfect work.
Very kind and personable man.
My impression of him has grown over time, with more and more respect and admiration.
I liked his personality best.
His office staff are very personable and sweet and helpful.
Future patients should trust him completely.
He stresses after care 100%
He has a structured after care program.
He addressed the risks of surgery very well.
I would rate him the top surgeon of them all.
Surgical competance and bedside manner are both great.
My first impression was that he is strict and that you should not think that the surgery is a quick fix. I really am glad that I decide to go with him. He really seems to care. His office staff was friendly and helpful with questions. Sometimes the staff can seem very busy but will still answers your questions. They really stress after care and the importance of it. I would rate him a 10.
Dr. Rowitz is a no nonsense kind of man to me. He let you know up front the pros an cons about this surgery.
My impression has not change at all about Dr. Rowitz I really like a person who is going to be honest and up front about major issues, instead of sugar coding it for the money. He has the most pleasent staff I've ever met. He really care about his patients and their care.
My 1st impression about him.. was that he was very professional and honest about everthing. I am still impressed with him, he has a great memory. His office staff are very nice and there very helpful. I would refer everyone to Dr. Rowitz if I could. He really cares about you, it's not just the money. If your health is bad in other ways like smoking, he'll make sure that you quit smoking 1st before he does the surgery,to make sure there isn't anymore risk added the it has to be.He's always looking out for you.. And I think that's most important.
My first impression was great I couldn't beleive that he was the one who actually handled the group meeting. It was nice to know that if you had a question your answer was coming straight from the Dr. His staff are great they kept me very informed every step of the way they are also very fast at getting approval and setting the surgery date.I really appriciated that at the first meeting that he told all of the national statistics and then his own it made me fill very confidant in his ability. He did not shy away from the fact that you could have complications or death with this. It is better to know the risk rather then going into it with rose colored glasses and then being completly shocked when something does go wrong. I havn't had my surgery yet but from eveything that i can gather about him and his crew I would rate them a 10.
Well I though I was going to have my surgery at the CORI center but my blood docter want let me so im going to have it with Dr.Oliphant his a great guy to meet him a year ago.....wish me luck
When I walk into the CORI Center, I wasnt sure what Doctor I was going to see. I had looked up Dr.Woods and Dr.Sapala. They help in coming up with the Sapala Woods Micropouch
Well Dr.Wood came to the consualt. He was down to earth, honest, straight to the point. No sugar coating it.He told us that it was a tool and to use it well. His been a surgoen for 26years and had been doing this kind of surgery for about 10 years. My husband and I picked Dr.Wood because he mad us feel like we were human. His a good Doctor. His staff was great the were helpful in all the questions I asked.
