OptiFast Protein Supplement Shakes by Novartis Medical Nutrition - Protein Drink

It is too high in carbohydrates to use after surgery. I would have preferred to get the benefiber line made for bariatric surgery but it was not available at the time.

I actually liked these shakes -- especially the chocolate one, but they are way too expensive.

I used this drink in the past on a hospital program and liked it and was thrilled to see my surgen using it as post op meals for protine.

Optifast was the worst tasting thing i had ever had.

I originally tried NutraRecipe, and by 2 weeks post op was sick of it. I changed to the Optifast supplement and am not sick of those as well. They are very sweet and I don't really care for them. They have 14g of Protein each, and come in Vanilla, Strawberry, and Chocolate.
