I did Medifast 2 times in 10 years. Lost 190 and 175 each time. you can lose with the diet, but put it back on PLUS when returning to real foods.
Same results as any other diet.

I have found that Medifast is excellent for pre and post op patients. I had surgery a while ago and gained some weight back and when I wanted to go back to the basics of after surgery I found Medifast. Small portions, high protein, low carb, low fat, low sugar. Its ideal!
