Taste wise I think it's the moste tolerable of the protein bars. It's expensive but much less at the health food stores than other places. Higher in calories than I'd like but when you need high protien on the go it's probably worth it. It's really the only bar whose taste I can tolerate!
(indicates that they have used the product)gnc has a large bar that is 32g I believe and it is about $2.25 It is a better deal than CVS but I don't get to GNC as often. CVS has a smaller version wich is 15 grams of protein for 1.99. I feel like they are a little pricy for the size but they taste as much like a snickers as you can for a protein bar... Very good taste!
(indicates that they have used the product)The mini detour bars (15 grams of protein) are the perfect size. The taste could be most compared to a snickers bar. I like that they are chewy and crunchy. The peanuts add a lot to it. I have at least two with me at all times. I keep a case in the refrigerator so I never have an excuse for not having protein.
(indicates that they have used the product)I put Detour, One-Way, and U-Turn all into the same category. I can only eat about half of one at a time which equals about 10g of protein and 150 calories. My favorite is the Detour, followed by the One-Way, then the U-Turn. You better be hungry if you try these because they are very filling! Nutritionally, they are probably best used as a treat, but I'm sure your body must use at least some of the protein. By far the tastiest protein bars out there!
