Citracal Creamy Bites by Mo Marquez - Calcium Supplement

There are 30 bites in each box. Each bite contains 500 mg of calcium citrate and 200 IU of Vitamin D. Does not contain any trans fat nor does it produce gas like calcium carbonate does. The chocolate flavor is delicious--if you like chocolate--and can be savored.
Because I will require 1,500 mg of calcium post-op, it will mean having to take 3 bites a day as an after-meal delicacy. That means that the entire box will run out in 10 days. If I were to eat those bites exclusively, then I would go thru 3 boxes in one month. It may be more economical to find another calcium citrate, such as UPCal-D, to supplement these bites and take just 1 bite a day in addition to taking the other supplement.
I am disappointed that the new owner (Bayer HealthCare) apparently has chosen to discontinue with the manufacturing of those bites.
