Rayford Kruger Bariatric Surgeon MD, FACS

Dr. Rayford Kruger, Bariatric Surgeon Rayford Kruger, MD, FACS is the Director of Bariatric Surgery at the Southcoast Health Weight Loss Center located in Wareham and Fall River Massachusetts. With his dedication and passion for bariatrics, he helped build the Southcoast bariatric program to become the largest bariatric program in New England. It is now a nationally recognized destination for weight loss surgery. Dr. Kruger earned his medical degree at Dartmouth Medical School and completed his residency at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. He is a board-certified surgeon and fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). He has been honored by his peers of the Bristol South District Medical Society as the 2015 Community Clinician of the Year and the Standard-Times 2014 Wareham Man of the Year. In addition to his expertise in performing bariatric surgery, Dr. Kruger specializes in general surgery, endoscopies, and minimally invasive surgery including anti-reflux surgery. He also is the author of numerous articles and publications. When he is not practicing medicine, Dr. Kruger is an avid skier and enjoys sailing. He is also a certified private pilot!
