Dr. Ravindra Mailapur started his surgical training as a resident in the United Kingdom where he received his fellowship in General Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. During his residency in the United Kingdom, Dr. Mailapur developed interest in Minimally Invasive Surgery. He immediately saw the diversity and the challenge of this field, and the potential it had to offer. This potential eventually led him to the United States where he completed his medical training at Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center, which is affiliated to the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York.
